Registration Fees
The following registration fees help support National and Council Scouting, which pays for activities like the free and low-cost events that we attend at Fire Mountain Scout Camp.
Our Pack does not charge any additional fees – all local Pack events throughout the year are funded through popcorn sales every fall from August to October.
| 2025 Program Fees | Amount |
|---|---|
| National Registration Fee This fee is the cost to register a youth with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). | $85 |
| Mount Baker Council Activity Fee This fee will be paid to the Mount Baker Council by its current members and leaders at re-chartering. This fee stays here to support Council youth programs. | $100 |
| Scout Life Subscription (optional) The mission of Scout’s Life magazine is to entertain and educate America’s youth and to open their eyes to the joyous world of reading. This is an optional cost. | $15 |
| Total | $200 |
| 43% reimbursement if your scout sells $500 of popcorn | $-85 |
| 100% reimbursement if your scout sells $900 of popcorn | $-200 |
You can register directly on the Scouting site, or the Pack can pay your registration with Council if you’re participating in Popcorn sales.
Scout Uniforms
Scout uniforms cost around $40-80 depending on which pieces you order. Learn more about uniforms at Pack4084.org/resources/.
Opportunity Funds
We want every youth to have a chance to be a part of our pack. Opportunity Funds are available to assist with registration and uniform costs.
You can learn more about the process at the Mount Baker Council website.
Please contact the Committee Chair or Cub Master for more information on Opportunity Funds. Please don’t let finances be a reason not to participate!
