Parent Resources
Cub Scout New Parent Guide – Official Scouting PDF which provides an overview and introduction for new families joining the Cub Scouts, covering the program’s goals, activities, parent involvement, and the overall structure and purpose of Cub Scouting. It serves as a guide to help new families understand what to expect and how to participate in the Cub Scout experience.
Scoutbook – Scoutbook is an online program that helps track scout achievements and advancement as they progress through Scouting.
Learn about Volunteering & Getting Involved – There are plenty of great ways to get involved even without becoming a registered leader. Volunteering is easy and fun, and often requires tasks that only take a few hours of your time. Learn more about How To Volunteer in general or reach our to our Cubmaster or any other leaders to learn more about tasks you can help with.
Learn about Paying For Cub Scouting – This page explains the basic costs associated with BSA membership and uniforms. To make the cost of Scouting easier on families, our Pack allows scouts to offset their BSA membership fees during our annual Popcorn sales in the fall, and even cover the entire cost of their summer camp. We also provide free handbooks. If costs are a concern or barrier to joining for your family please reach out to our Cubmaster or Committee Chair and we can connect you with additional opportunity funds that are available.
